Olivier Leflaive is an important and large domaine in Burgundy, based in Puligny-Montrachet in the beating heart of the Côte de Bone. The family has centuries of experience in cultivating these lands and has been transferring this passion from father to son for generations. Olivier, son of Anne and Joseph, was born in 1945 when the family estate numbered about 20 hectares. After his studies in economics and his strong passion for music, he pursued a career as an artist and impresario, also making his debut on radio and TV programs. After the birth of his daughters Olivia and Julie, he decided in 1981 to return to his beloved wine country and devote himself fully to winemaking, founding the estate under his name in 1984. Olivier decided to follow his revolutionary idea, unique to the times, of buying grapes and musts and vinifying and aging them according to their principles. A project that quickly becomes a success, supported also by his brother Patrick and uncle Vincent. In 1988, the talented cellarman Franck Grux enters the scene and becomes Olivier's trusted man in the following years. Success spreads and in 2001 the Chablisian adventure begins, followed in 2015 by the creation, together with his friend, of Champagnes Valentin Leflaive.

Domaine Olivier Lefalive vinifies about 120 hectares of vineyards (including 17 of its own), yielding mostly great white wines. The grapes come from prestigious Premier Cru and Grand Cru villages in the Côte de Beaune, such as Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault, but also from the renowned areas of Chablis and the Côte Chalonnaise. Every day Leflaive strives to produce quality grapes through reasoned farming, supporting the valuable work of passionate winemakers and regularly monitoring the vineyards. From each prestigious terroir come unique and rare bottles, sought after all over the world.

Olivier Leflaive wines are great territorial expressions: they have class, elegance and refinement typical of Burgundy, impeccably and precisely telling the nuances of a historically vocated territory. Fruit of the best grapes from important Grand Cru and Premier Cru, they are wines that represent the great excellence of the wine world.
