Pierre Sugrue

Once back in England, he reconnected with Harry and Pip Goring, owners of Wiston Estate in West Sussex, who were intent on starting a new project and began collaborating with them to create a new vineyard and renovate the winery.

Dermot Sugrue immediately saw the potential of the West Sussex territory and began looking for land to start his own business, a small Boutique Maison to produce high-end wines. Storrington Priory Vineyard spans one hectare and enjoys a beautiful sun exposure and sandy soils. He later expanded the estate by renting a

2.5-hectare plot on Mount Harry, characterized by chalky soils and proximity to the sea. The cool and mild climate and the highly suitable soils have allowed for the production of excellent quality grapes, which combined with Dermot's preparation, have given rise to a range of labels of surprising quality level
