Roses de Jeanne - Cedric Bouchard

Cedric Bouchard is a talented and young winemaker who founded the Roses de Jeanne house in 2000 in the area of Aube or Cote Des Bar. His passion and tenacity quickly earned him a place among the most emerging and promising Champagne producers. The winery is located at the gates of the medieval city of Troyes, in the autonomous and historic area of Aube that belongs to the Champagne region, but is isolated, bordering Burgundy. It is the homeland of Pinot Noir, which in this land, characterized by clay and limestone soil and a slightly warmer climate, produces precious cuvées with an elegant profile and great potential.

It all began when Cedric Bouchard inherited the vineyard "Les Ursules" from his father and with just over one hectare experimented with the first wines. He worked a lot on yield and cluster selection, minimizing interventions in the vineyard as much as possible. In 2002, his first wine was released, and in 2004 and 2005, his first Champagnes. The success was great: among the emerging young realities and among the great producers, Cedric Bouchard made more and more space for himself, who with his careful vineyard management, strong passion, and perfectionism conquered the sparkling wine market in just a few years. The winery remains one of the smallest maisons, which, with its 1.3 hectares divided into four crus of the village of Celles-sur-Orce, produces a few bottles of great excellence.

The Champagnes of Cedric Bouchard are among the best in the region and stand out for their high concentration, aromatic tension, and low carbon content. They are made from single varietal, mainly Pinot Noir. They demonstrate great harmony and disarming expressiveness. They are studied and designed to perfection by Cedric to be unique and unforgettable bottles.
