Seri Pervas
Seri Pervas Italian Spirits produces high-quality artisanal distillates and liqueurs. The company is based in Trieste and draws its inspiration from the city's historic mercantile vocation, a European port of strategic importance, crossroads of trade and cultural exchanges. Always a cosmopolitan city, a bridge between the West and the East, between the Mediterranean and Mitteleuropa, Trieste represents the vibrant synthesis of the best European tradition. The name of the company is a tribute to the city and takes its name from a steamship that transported goods and passengers, first along the Danube and then at sea. The ship routes traversed the seas and traced ideal lines that connected distant lands, bringing together and sharing not only products but also experiences and worldviews. In the same way, Seri Pervas aims to create a range of labels linked to this spirit capable of taking the senses on a journey, savoring evocative and fascinating aromas.
The project has a recent history. Seri Pervas came to light at the beginning of 2020 through the initiative of two brothers from Trieste. The underlying idea was to create distillates and liqueurs inspired by the commercial traditions of Trieste and its vocation as a great international emporium of the Mediterranean, a place where goods and products arrived from all over the world. Drawing inspiration from this suggestion, the desire was born to combine typical local ingredients with spices that have been arriving in Trieste from distant lands for centuries. A range of labels capable of merging Trieste's great past as the main port of the Austro-Hungarian Empire with the contemporary taste of the most discerning enthusiasts, increasingly oriented towards the search for products characterized by a strong identity and territorial recognizability.
The reference to past centuries is also reflected in the stylistic choices of the bottles and labels, which in their shapes and graphics refer to the historical period straddling the late 1800s and early 1900s. The packaging, in fact, recalls the sobriety of the bottles that could be found at that time in pharmacies, still linked to the ancient tradition of medicinal elixirs. At the base of the production lies a deep bond with the territory. Juniper berries, medicinal herbs, and aromatic herbs come from the spontaneous flora of the Trieste Karst area as well as exotic spices from the docks of the port of Trieste. Gin and L’Amaro perfectly express the spirit of the company and interpret its style with elegance and finesse.
