Singleton distillery produces premium quality Speyside Single Malt whiskies, perfect for those who want to look out for the first time to the spirits of the famous Scottish region. Located in the heart of Speyside, Singleton produces its whisky at Dufftown since 1896, a village of about 2,000 souls where there are other 7 distilleries which use the waters of the tributaries of the River Spey. Founded by Peter MacKenzie and Richard Stackpole, the two converted an old sawmill and began to produce a whisky so successful and with a well-balanced flavor to emerge unscathed from the whisky crisis of 1898, the American prohibition of the '20s and the Great Depression of the ‘30s.

With its six stills, Singleton still produces with traditional methods what is often described as one of the smoothest and fragrant whisky of the region, slightly spicy. The distillery uses a combination of American and European oak barrels for aging its distillates, rounding the rich flavor and the characteristic sweetness through the notes of sherry and bourbon. Singleton is definitely a whisky that remind you summer fruits and honey, but also hazelnuts, vanilla and even coconut. Its smooth character and its rich and sweet taste makes it also suitable for the preparation of fresh summer cocktails.

Singleton whiskies really seem inspired by the colors of the nature of Speyside. Ideal for those looking for flavor, sweetness and lightness in the world of Scotch.
