Tenuta Terre Nobili
Terre Nobili is the name of a Calabrian winery, founded in the late 1960s in Montalto Uffugo by Ennio Matera, who has always been fascinated by rural life and very connected to the surrounding area of Cosenza. One of Ennio's first objectives was to recover the ancient vineyards, since this area has always had an important winemaking pedigree that Ennio did not want to waste. Thus began a careful research work towards indigenous varieties, with the aim of restoring the right splendor to certain grape varieties, and simultaneously the winery was built, starting to market the first bottles. Today, after a few decades, it is Ennio's daughter, Lidia, an agronomist who returned to Calabria from Bologna in 1990, who continues the work at Terre Nobili, committed to creating labels that respect the terroir of origin and the surrounding environment, adhering to criteria and principles that refer to organic farming.
The vineyards of the Terre Nobili winery extend over approximately 36 hectares, located within the municipality of Magliocco offers noteworthy expressions.
