Villa Sant'Anna
Villa Sant'Anna is one of the best and oldest wine estates located on the hills surrounding the Tuscan town of Montepulciano, known worldwide for the production of Nobile di Montepulciano. The estate dates back to 1800, but its modern rebirth is due to Simona Ruggeri Fabroni and her daughters Anna and Margherita: a brilliant female team dedicated to the production and enhancement of top-quality wines.
In the name of the centuries-old family tradition, Simona, Anna, and Margherita have made Villa Sant'Anna a wine reference point in Montepulciano. With tenacity, passion, expertise, and great initiative, they are constantly engaged in perfecting their wines, starting from the enhancement of native grape varieties, such as Prugnolo Gentile, to the creation of new high-density vineyards, the renewal of barrels and barriques, and the maintenance of ancient underground cellars, where the wines age at natural temperature.
The wines of Villa Sant'Anna stand out in the wine landscape of Tuscany for elegance and complexity. Among the most prestigious expressions of the winery the interpretations of Nobile di Montepulciano stand out, particularly the “Poldo”, produced only in the best vintages from a strict selection of the grapes. If modern enology has accustomed us to seeing great women of wine in action, with Villa Sant'Anna we can affirm that when there are even three women of wine, the result is guaranteed.
