VL92
The Gin VL92 is a spirit with a recent history, born from the intuition of two passionate Dutch entrepreneurs and the desire to create an innovative gin linked to the ancient traditions of Holland and inspired by genever, the ancestor of gin, a national spirit whose origins date back to the Middle Ages.
The VL92, produced at the Van Toor distillery in the city of Vlaardingen, is a spirit made from an alcoholic base of 'moutwijn', that is, a liquor made from fermented beer, and thus represents the continuity between genever and modern gin. The aromatic complexity of VL92 is due to the botanicals used, among which stand out some very aromatic modern components such as coriander leaf and cinnamon.
This gin takes its name from an ancient Dutch sailing ship that transported exotic spices, ingredients that were too precious and sought after in the past for traditional gin preparation recipes and that today have become the essential raw material for this innovative Gin VL92.
