'RÉSERVE DEL CONTE' MANINCOR 2021 DESCRIPTION

The product that more than any other identifies the Manincor winery and its owner, Count Michael Goëss-Enzenberg, is this red "Réserve del Conte." A strongly territorial wine, where the grapes used within the final blend, Lagrein, Merlot and Cabernet, recount the essence of the hills that lie beside the estate, towards the clear blue waters of Lake Caldaro. This is a bottle that is very pleasant to drink, where the sip is never tiring, but rather always punctually enveloping.

Manincor is a winery where every tiny process is always followed with the utmost scruple and attention. This is also the case with this "Réserve del Conte," a blend consisting of Lagrein, Merlot and Cabernet, present in almost homogeneous percentages. The grapes grow within vineyards treated with organic and biodynamic practices, characterized by a subsoil composed of limestone and moraine deposits, facing southeast. Once picked during harvest, the clusters ferment spontaneously in wooden vats thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, macerating in contact with the skins for 10 days. This is followed by maturation, which continues for 12 months on the fine lees in oak barrels.

The "Réserve del Conte" has a ruby red color, decidedly lively and bright. The bouquet of sensations that develop on the nose recalls notes of ripe fruit, enhanced by hints reminiscent of spice. On the palate it is full-bodied, balanced, with a flowing sip that makes for a pleasant drink; it finishes with a noteworthy persistence. Nature, tradition and passion are the three pivotal elements at the basis of Manincor's work: once again, one cannot but see how, even in this red wine, these values are well present.
