'HABEMUS - ETICHETTA BIANCA' SAN GIOVENALE 2020 DESCRIPTION

The Habemus Etichetta Bianca is a powerful and rich wine, with a velvety and caressing texture. Marco Casolanetti's hand in wine production is one of the most recognizable, stemming from a clear idea that embraces work in the vineyard and in the cellar. Marco, already the owner of Oasi degli Angeli, opts for very low yields per plant in order to concentrate aromas and extracts in a few fruits, harvested at full maturity. In the case of Habemus, the selected grape varieties are Grenache, Syrah, Carignano, and Tempranillo, all capable of providing a generous and well-defined aromatic contribution. Concentrated, deep, impactful liquids, with a sure charm and appeal for their persuasiveness and pleasant drinkability. Needless to say, there are many admirers and few bottles, so it is advisable to make room in the cellar!

The red Habemus Etichetta Bianca is made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Carignano, and Tempranillo grapes. The grapes, which are hand-picked, are the result of a very accurate selection of bush vines planted at 300-400 meters altitude on clayey soil with southern exposure. Marco's philosophy in the vineyard has always been focused on respect for the varieties and the system, so the plants are not treated with any chemical or synthetic substances. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentation takes place in steel containers, followed by 20 months of aging in new barriques, followed by at least 6 months in the bottle.

The Habemus Etichetta Bianca wine presents itself in the glass with an extremely dark and impenetrable ruby red color. The nose is extremely broad, on which a particularly fit taster could linger for hours: cocoa, tobacco, plum, cinnamon, black pepper sketch out what is a veritable aromatic extravaganza. The tasting is no less impressive, and is a true thoroughbred. Power, richness, and concentration, in a remarkable balance between the extraction and freshness. The finish is very long, for what is a liquid almost for meditation, or for drinking on important occasions. Guaranteed!
