The ‘Giac Bulles’ Pét-Nat from the French winery Domaine Giachino is a sparkling wine from Savoie that stands out for its spontaneous and genuine personality. The 'Pét-Nat' is a category that identifies sparkling and effervescent wines made using the Ancestral Method. In fact, the term “pét-nat” is the abbreviation of “pétillant naturel,” which translates to “naturally sparkling.” This bottle comes from only Jacquère grapes, an indigenous white grape variety that alone represents a remarkable 70% of the entire ampelographic platform of the estate.

Domaine Giachino Pét-Nat ‘Giac Bulles’ is 100% Jacquère cultivated according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, thus without the use of synthetic chemical products and employing natural substances to stimulate the plants' defenses. The vineyards are located at over 1,000 meters above sea level on clay-limestone soils. After manual harvesting, the delicate pressing follows.of the bunches, with the must thus obtained fermenting solely through the intervention of indigenous yeasts. The refermentation occurs in the bottle according to the Ancestral Method thanks to the natural sugars in the must that serve as a source of nourishment for the yeasts.
